I think this might be a mafia run operation. At least in my few calls I sat through it seemed like the operaters cold calling people all seemed to be african american. It seems likely that they are employing desperate black youths and probably any desperate people honestly, who will cold call for a scam.

They all have a script meant to hook you with free goodies and if you make it past them you go to the final boss. The final boss will check your info again and then try to get your credit card number. I once had them even ask for a bank account number but that was a different sweepstake scam.

But the reason I thought of mafia will probably sound ridiculous but both of the 'managers' that I talked to were italian american. And it seems like the mob would probably have the resources and cahones to organize a giant underground operation of identity theft.

It's obviously wide spread and it doesn't matter what phone company you have. At any rate its am impressive operation they seem to be getting away with it for now.

They know the way to Americans heart (and gullability) though. Free shit.

I wonder if there is any way to contact the Canadian equivilant of the FTC and complain. Tell them we'll nuke the place if they don't shut them down. In all seriousness, maybe contacting the authorities in the right country would be the correct starting point in getting these clowns shut down.

FYI: I got called from the 613# on my cell this morning. The only thing I can think of is that I put in a little information into a site that started out innocently enoughm, but right after I put in a little information realized what it really was and closed up all the windows it had opened up.

Where can I get it?

Hi Andre,
Thanx again for your answer.
I have a little bit more trouble if you can guide me I will be very thankful to you.

Suppose someone has added our application which is in his profile, when other user visits his profile can we get the querystring value of the user whose profile is being visited?

Waiting for ur response.

I believe that that sort data collection might infringe on the terms and conditions. However ignoring that I don't believe there is any direct way to do that except if found by working around the system.

I believe that the most promising method (when using their Application API) is if the user has a link to your application present (on the Nav bar). Since the link and icon is probably lives in your own server you could easily get the information about who is loading the icon/link and on what page they are on.

I know that they work hard on maintaining their users privacy so I doubt this method or any other will work.
