Mysterious Numbers

As of two days ago I have receiving for the first time on my cell weird 866 and 877 numbers (on my cell?!). Neither Google nor any other site has yet come with a result of who owns these numbers, however I’m not the only person getting these calls. This is rather irritating specially since one has to wait 31 days after registering a number in the Do-Not-Call list for telemarketers to stop calling (or else I’ll sue I swear).

The numbers are:

Guide to stop this from happening:

Step 1: Add your numner to the Do-Not-Call List
Step 2: Wait for it to take effect. Telemarketing companies have up to 30 days to stop calling you, although for me it was the next day.

Wrong birthday

Today I totally wished happy birthday to someone who did not even have a birthday remotely close to today’s date (off by about 20 days). I feel stupid and I don’t think I can look at this person’s face ever again. I guess I’m just not made to be social. I give up.

Naked donuts

This isn’t the first time that this occurs to me, and for that reason I am starting to get slightly annoyed about it. People at Donkin’ Donuts put donuts in the bag with the frosted side facing down! And now my ask, so what’s the big deal, its just upside down. AH! The moment you put the donut upside down (ie. with the frosted side facing down) the entire frosting gets stuck to the paper bag and so when you go get your donut from the bag: it’s naked. What’s the point of making “Strawberry Frosted” or “Sprinkles” donuts if in the end I get almost nothing of the frosting. Seriously, if I get a “Chocolate Frosted” donut, I’m getting it because of the frosting, not the donut itself because that’s all the same. So aggravating…

Stirring sugar

Today I watched how a man stirred he sugar and espresso for a mere 45 seconds. Yes, 45 seconds. You may ask why I counted to fourty-five, well it was because he made as much noise as if he had simple put the expresso and sugar into a blender.

PS: If you a real man you take espresso straight, no sweeteners.

Abused by teacher

It makes me want to drop Choir when I am verbally abused by DJ the choir idiot. Is it too much to ask to be calm about the fact that I didn’t return the blazer because you wasn’t there the day I was leaving and no instructions were left on how to return it? And if that wasn’t enough, why do you assume I misread your e-mail, talk about discriminating Freshmen. If you think you are funny, you are not. Cornell (where he graduated) definitely shoved a stick up your you-know-what – amazing that you still managed to reproduce two adorable kids.

Result: I have to dry clean the blazer and return it (despite the fact that I’ll use the same one this semester). And my hold will stay there for the same amount of time as I delayed on return the it, that is over 35 days?!

Brie Cheese

My dad thought it would be amusing if he got Brie Cheese when he went shopping last week. And this morning my mother thought it would be sweet to serve me breakfast in bed except that – Brie Cheese smells and has a horrible taste. I had to leave the tray on the other side of the room because the thing smelled so much. Eww

Cheap Toilet

Today at the Campus Center I had the opportunity to use the cheapest toilet I have seen in my life. Shall I begin with the size of the stall. Here are the key reasons:

Who on earth designs a stall where you can’t close the door because there isn’t enough space for the door to swing shut: I had to go behind the toilet seat to close the door. Sick
Toilet paper. The toilet paper was an entire 1″ smaller in width. Do you know what that means? Well the normal roll of paper is 4500″ long and has 20250 sq/inches. The one at the CC was 15750 sq/inches. A wopping 33% less surface area.

Flying Conductors

At my choir concert there was an alien school singing, and the singing wasn’t bad but the conductor, argh. Who in their right mind conducts a fast 4/4 song in 2/2. Is he mad? Or is he just trying to fly? I think the latter is more likely his hands were going so fast that I don’t think I watched the choir for a single moment because his hands were so distracting. Crazy I tell you.

Crunchy food

It drives me up the wall when people eat crunchy food, like chips or crackers, when the room is silent. The sound effects are just so annoying. First you have the mouth opening sound (which is just disgusting since opening your mouth should not require the production of saliva oriented sounds). And then you have the crunch-crunch sound. Either people chew with rhythm which make you want to kill the person or they chew with no rhythm which is even worse. In all, I hate when people make sounds when they eat.
